Nadja K. Rutkowski recently Line Produced her first feature film “Bubble Trubble” – a children’s film about an alien boy causing trouble on earth with his bubbles. Nadja has also produced 6 short films. Many of them have gone to multiple festivals (Sundance, Telluride, etc.) and received many awards and nominations, including John Krokidas’s “Slo-Mo”, which was nominated for a Student Academy Award© and sold to HBO (it is also in development to become a feature film).
Nadja donates her time as Membership Director for Stellar Network – a not-for-profit company, providing a platform and networking opportunities for the creative community (film, theater and TV) in New York and London. It was founded in 2004 by Hannah Minghella and Nicola Behrman. Stellar boasts such luminaries as Susan Sarandon, Anthony Minghella, Jude Law and Alan Rickman among others on its board.
While currently serving as Vice-President at Terry Steiner International, one of the leading Independent distributor in the non-theatrical market, Nadja has teamed up with Charka Media Group and its founders, Genevieve Castelino and Kiran Merchant, to develop and produce two feature films and a TV show.
Nadja holds a BFA in Film and Television from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Born and raised in Berlin, Germany, she currently resides in Hoboken, NJ. |
